How I got into Jiujitsu…

I got into Jiujitsu in a late time of my life, it started after I had been training regularly for 4 years in kickboxing. I came to the realization one day that I had absolutely was getting taken apart by bigger fighters during practice – I’m only 5’6 and fought guys 5’9 and taller with a minimum of +30lbs on me!

I had tried jiujitsu once when I was training kickboxing and had been completely clueless and lost as to how to survive. Needless to say my ego took a huge beating and I did not ever try again after that one class.

Four years after I finally decided to try out Jiujitsu again just to test myself and see what skills I really had in me and whether I could be good at the sport. There could have been a lot of reasons as to why I stuck with it but I would have to say a main contributing factor was that I found the right gym, the Budo team.

Since beginning in 2016 I have never looked back and instantly fell in love with it once I started. Today I have a competitor when I have the time but do love to keep up with the latest techniques that are evolving ALWAYS.

The reason I am starting this blog is to practice ranking my blog to gain readers and visitors to prove that I am able to take the self taught knowledge of SEO and content and apply it in a way to create an opportunity to show people in the industry that although I did not go to school for digital marketing that I am determined to learn and keep up with the ever evolving landscape of SEO – just like jiujitsu.
